Shree Bhagwat Vidhyapeeth
India is blessed with a vast and rich spiritual and cultural heritage. One has only to see the various architectural marvels and cultural institutions that dot the geographical expanse of India to glimpse the richness of our heritage. The study of linguistics was initiated by Indian grammarians who began the trend by first attempting to catalogue and codify the rules of Sanskrit. Even today, the main terms for compound analysis are taken from Sanskrit. One such magnificent and culturally rich institution was founded by Shri Krishnashankar Shastriji, fondly known as Dadaji to all, which is known to us as the SHREE BHAGWAT VIDHYAPEETH. Located at Krushna Dham Sola in Ahmedabad, this gigantic University Campus benefiting large number of students who come from all spheres of life and from all across the country. Following in the footsteps of Dadaji, Shri Bhagwatrishi Ji has carried on the tradition of providing Vedic knowledge along with the contemporary education to all the students at Shree Bhagwat Vidhyapeeth. Below are some of the highlights of what one can expect at the Vidhyapeeth.

P. Pu, Shree Krishnashnakar Shastri (Pu, Dadaji) Founder of Shree Bhagwat Vidhyapith
Ever since the creation of this universe, God Almighty has taken many avatars for the deliverance of mankind. Whenever there is decline of dharma and the evil and unrighteousness has spread its ugly wings, God has taken birth from age to age for the protection of the virtuous. Shri Krishnashankar Shastriji (Dadaji) was born to extremely devotional and spiritual parents in Saadhi Village in the District of Vadodara, Gujarat. From early childhood he showed keen interest in “Bhagvatseva” and through knowledge imparted by his father, Shri Dalsukhbhai Ranchodbhai, Dadaji mastered the Sanskrit language and further went on to master the Shrimad Bhagat, making it his life’s mission to impart its teachings to every living being that came in contact with him. Till date, Dadaji is considered to be highest authority in the entire “Vaishnav Samaj” who, through his impeccable knowledge and selfless devotion, spread the knowledge of Veda – Bhakti – Shakti – Gita – Seva – Samarpan – Sadhuta – Samrasta and Vatsalya. Dadaji is also considered the “Bhishm Pitahmah” of today’s times as just like Bhishm Pitahmah, being an unequivocal follower of Shri Krishna and Shri Vallabha, Dadaji dedicated his entire life standing between the proverbial arrows of pain and agony meant for his disciples and followers. Watching the unbearable sufferings of the people of Champaran, Dadaji formed a new Trust – Shri Vallabha Nidhi Trust in association with the previous Shri Vallabha Aayojan Kendra Trust. In doing so, he provided for all the people of the Vaishnav Samaj. His ‘Seva’ was not limited to the people of the Vaishnav Samaj but to all the surrounding villages of Champaran and to all and sundry who came to him. His life was dedicated in the upbringing of the poor and the ones who had lost all hope. With a soft and sweet tone, Dadaji imparted his knowledge with the right mix of devotion and karmic deeds. He founded the Shri Bhagvat Vidyapeeth in Sola, Ahmedabad, for advancement of the Sanskrit language. Following Shri Vallabhanidhi, he was instrumental in setting up many Atithi Niketan, Niramay Sarvar Kendra, schools, Shri Sarvottam Van and Sarvottam Tirth in Champaran. He also founded the Haveli at Juhu Scheme, Vile Parle in Mumbai and Shri Rameshwar Dham. In Dakorji, institutions set up by Dadaji are prevalent in providing Seva for Shreenathji, Shri Yamunaji and Shri Mahaprbhuji.
